We are excited to announce the launch of our new Stratafy cloud hosting service. Cloud hosting is a revolutionary platform for serving web content. Traditional shared hosting relies on a single server to store your data and serve requests to visitors of your site. That server is usually shared by hundreds or even thousands of other web sites. The disadvantage of shared hosting is that you are dependant on that single server to function properly. If it suffers some kind of failure or one of the other sites on the same server happen to use all of the available resources, your web site can be affected and even go offline. Cloud hosting completely eliminates this problem. Your data is stored in huge redundant storage arrays and your web site is served by thousands of servers working together to process requests for your web site. If a server or hard drive fail in the cloud, your web site is not affected.
Another huge advantage of cloud hosting is the ability to dynamically scale to handle more traffic. Unlike shared hosting which offers you a finite amount of resources, the cloud will scale to meet the traffic demands of your site.
